Denisa Lowery

I originally came to yoga in 2000 in an attempt to de-stress and take on a new physical practice. I ended up learning about myself in the process, not just on a physical, but energetic and spiritual level as well. From then on I was hooked always coming back to this practice that seemed to subtly enrich my life in ways I often didn’t realize until I took the time to self reflect. I graduated from Loka Yoga School in Whistler, BC and bow humbly to my teachers Tina James and Tanya DiValentino.
I love to plant a seed, nurture it, allow Nature to work its magic and see it grow. I believe yoga is very similar as once those seeds of knowledge are planted we only need to remember to come back to the breath to nurture them and then a subtle kind of magic unfolds in each one of us in its own time. We get to know our physical body, we get to see how our minds turn and from there we may surrender into our true nature, that inner stillness that connects us all. My classes are an offering where I will share my experience of yoga so that you too may plant your own seeds and watch them grow. I encourage a collective intention of acceptance towards oneself and others as we breathe, move and play together.
