Kerry McCann

I would describe my practice and my classes an unfolding and listening dialogue with our bodies, my training was primarily hatha yoga, at the time of training I was recovering from a lugeing accident, this possibly changed my relationship to my practice, as it was a tool for my own healing and physical alignment as well as a way to build strength, The practice I developed became the final step in recovery. I was also inspired to follow this line of learning into the healing arts. Shortly after teacher training I began studying the Trager approach, which inspires some similar influences through mindful movement education and presence. I was certified in 2005. In 2006 I fell in love with Biodynamic Cranioscral Therapy and completed training in 2009. Prior to moving to B.C. I worked with a physiotherapist offering my skills in treatment and to design and implement rehab programs for clients. I also ran a private practice and yoga classes serving the rural community’s of Bancroft and Maynooth I lived near. I draw from all these skills and experiences in the offering of sharing practice with people. I want to offer a space for people to come and be present with everything they are carrying in a resourced and graceful way, creating space for health to flourish, for me this is what yoga has offered. Kerry McCann has been practicing yoga since 1999, she Completed 200hr teacher Training with Troy Springer in 2002 And has been learning and loving the process ever since!
